The Connecticut Sun handed yet another loss for the Atlanta Dream. This one was especially heartbreaking, given the Dream tied it up late in the 4th quarter. The offensive production continues to be an issue for the Dream.
That said, WHO HIT THE SWITCH ON DEFENSE?! DO IT AGAIN! Holy smokes! After being down by double digits, the Dream had SOMETHING click, defensively to start off the second quarter, and didn’t let up. I’ve seen some really good defenses, but nothing like the clinic the Dream put on this afternoon.
If the Dream can get their offensive production (and offensive rebounding) clicking, while maintaining this level of defense (turnovers and steals, defensive rebounds, quick strike pressure situations), Atlanta will be the team to BEAT.
